KIA ORA!

Sun Upcycle is a Social Enterprise formed out of YES (Young Enterprise Scheme). We are a group of 4 young men who love our community and are striving to leave a lasting impact. After Covid-19 hit New Zealander's struggled to afford Kai and thousands applied for the "Emergency Food Grant". As young men we could not sit back and watch our community struggle any longer so we decided to build Pataka Kai (Community Pantries) to enhance and expand the sharing culture in Gisborne, reduce waste and ultimately BRING THE PEOPLE OF GISBORNE KAI!
